Cincinnati, Ohio Alumni Chapter
of Mu Phi Epsilon
Mu Phi Epsilon is an International,
Professional Music Fraternity which was
founded by Dr. Winthrop S. Sterling
and Elizabeth Mathias Fuqua on
November 13, 1903, at the Metropolitan
College of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cincinnati was the home of the 2003 Centennial Celebration of Mu Phi Epsilon.
It has as its purpose
the advancement of music in America and throughout the
world, the promotion of musicianship
and scholarship, loyalty to the Alma
Mater, and the development of a true
bond of friendship.
The Fraternity is composed of Collegiate
Chapters, Alumni Chapters and Allied Members.
The Cincinnati Alumni Chapter was installed
in April, 1914.
The Cincinnati Alumni Chapter has members
in and serves the local
Tri-State area of Southern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and South Eastern Indiana.
Our membership includes music performers, educators, therapists, composers,
church music leaders, organists/pianists.
