Phi Omicron Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon
at The Cleveland Institute of Music

Mu Phi Epsilon is an International, Professional Music Fraternity which was
founded by Dr. Winthrop S. Sterling and Elizabeth Mathias Fuqua on
November 13, 1903, at the Metropolitan College of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The fraternity has as its purpose the advancement of music in America and throughout the world, the promotion of musicianship and scholarship, loyalty to the Alma Mater, and the development of a true bond of friendship.

The Fraternity is composed of Collegiate Chapters, Alumni Chapters and
Allied Members.

The Phi Omicron Collegiate Chapter was installed on June 17, 1939 at Western Reserve University and was transferred to The Cleveland Institue of Music on March 6, 1958.
